Training in the OTA is divided into two terms (senior and junior), there are different test in both the terms to successfully complete the training. These test basically includes running exercises, upper arm test, drill, swimming and some endurance test (you can see the complete detail from the official website of indian army). A lady cadet has to pass all the test similar to a gentleman cadet but a bit less hard.
Regarding the advantage of training in OTA, the biggest and only advantage is that at the end, you will be commissioned as an officer in Indian Army. I guess that should be your single and most inspiration or motive while in training.
At last regarding the post and salary, A commissioned officer is first grade gazetted officer of indian government, their salary keeps on changing with each pay commission, (currently a commissioned officer has a package approximately Rs 10 Lakh annually ).
