Congratulations Atharv for securing the SSB interview, Wish you good luck for it.
My best advice for a first timer would be to attend a five day SSB Interview course from a well reputed coaching class. It’s a must to do things if you are serious about the exam, there‘s no other way around. You can’t prepare yourself with online tools available without physically experiencing the environment around there. If you will not be attending any physical training you will not be at the same level as other candidates.
Keep this in mind that you have higher chances of clearing the SSB interview in your first attempt then in any subsequent attempts, so don’t waste it.
For OIR, do as practice as you can, it’s matter of knowing right trick for that specific type of question format. There are only few type of intelligence questions, with practice you can easily master them all.
For PPDT, try to make your own set of stories with character that you personally feel motivated from. You can use same story with any kind of picture, with right connecting instances. But try to be realistic, don’t make your character a super hero, be practical, explain past in few words and explain the action in more detail the finish with some result.
I will share my detailed advise on PPDT in upcoming blogs to be published in next few days, so keep in touch.
Also, feel free to ask any more question, I will be happy to clarify as many as I can.
